On Thursday we celebrated Pop's (Ricci's dad) retirement from 39 yrs at the Waco Fire Department! We are so proud of him & were glad we all got to be there to share his special day with him!! Parker loved playing on the fire trucks!!

parker has become very independent this week and loves to do things by himself. tonight he sat in his chair and read us a book and has learned how to push his trucks around, while running. my favorite thing that he started this week is the "vroom", "voom" noises that he makes when playing with his trucks and trains! SO CUTE!! MY baby is becoming a BIG boy! :-(

hello everyone! i am trying to be become a better blogger! i know that in recent months i have been BAD! no excuses! i am starting to post on a weekly basis from now on! tonight we had fajitas for dinner and parker had a bean and cheese burrito. he was extra messy tonight so we thought we would share it with you. ricci says it looks like parker has freckles!!

this week parker has started calling me mama and sometimes it's MMAAMMAA! last week i was talking to ninny on the phone and parker was screaming "MAMA" because he wanted to show me where he through his binky so i could give it to him!
